About this artwork
This painting is part of a series, painted on thick paper. It is a work on the tension between darkness and emergence. Dark masses structure the space while deep blues and veiled reds attempt to pierce through, like flashes of memory or sensation.
There is no fixed point: the gaze moves, collides, penetrates. The gesture is deliberately visible, sometimes brutal, sometimes subtle, to preserve the trace of doubt and impulse.
This work is part of… a research project on the non-descriptive landscape: a mental, emotional space, where painting becomes a place of passage rather than a representation.
