About this artwork
I worked on this painting as a territory in transformation. The layers overlap, disappear, reappear, until a form of unstable and living inner landscape emerges.
For this painting, I sought a tension between darkness and bursts of color, as if light were slowly passing through an almost organic, plant-like substance. The touches of pink, seafoam green, and yellow then appear as fragile emergences amidst a darker depth. This work belongs to an exploration… of abstract landscape, poised between dreamlike nature and matter in motion.
