About this artwork
What a day! The chestnuts shine golden, the leaves like copper and red gold, all around me I see only beauty. Autumn is glowing, the air is fresh and the sky is an intense, transparent blue. I tried to express all this beauty in this semi-abstract painting. It is reminiscent of floating flowers, roses and ranunculus.

Anne Samson is a passionate German painter who has exhibited her works nationally. Always motivated to create aesthetic tensions, she uses colour and structure to provoke emotions, viewer intrigue and a sense of joy. To achieve this, she oscillates between the abstract and the figurative, using a range of materials including quartz sand, marble flour, ink, oil, and chalk alongside an acrylic base.
