About this artwork
Many mystical traditions relate to time in cycles. I draw reassurance from this belief. Echoes of cave paintings, cyclical time, passing between earth realm and other realms -- inner and outer -- all swim in this painting.

« I am fascinated with change and metamorphosis. »
Anne Wright is an artist based in Canada whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Through her art, she investigates the invisible behind what is visible, the waxing and waning, as well as the collision and confusion that underlie what is apparent. Wright's lyrically expressive compositions are created with organic impressions and textures, with subtle gradations of analogous color.
