A woman walks alone through the streets of Venice in the middle of the night. In this black and white photograph, only the woman's silhouette can be seen, as it was taken against the light of the only lantern in the square. The slight distortion of movement in the photograph, the arm swinging backwards and the hair blowing in the wind create a dynamic that conveys a certain haste. Maybe she wants to go home and feels unsafe alone or maybe she has…
