About this artwork
With this work, “Long live Italy!”, I wanted to capture the vibrant energy and proud spirit that can be felt in the alleys of the historic center of Naples. This photograph was taken in 2009, three years earlier, Italy had won the football World Cup, and the enthusiasm for that glorious victory was still palpable in the air.
Using digital photography, I was able to emphasize the vivid tricolor waving proudly among the historic buildings, a symbol… of unity and pride. This image invites us to celebrate the indomitable spirit of Italy, bringing an explosion of passion and joy to every environment where it is displayed.
The photo is printed on glossy photographic paper, measures 30x40cm and is framed with a 40x50cm black wooden frame.
