In this work I combine acrylic, collage, charcoal, sand, pigments and plaster to create an intense, profound abstraction. I use color and form to represent connection. The work comes to life through the strong texture of the worked canvas.
The resulting background provides a wonderful backdrop to the ochre-gold colored link and enhances the impact, capturing both raw emotion and tactile depth.
The 'golden' frame within the image connects the two… parts of the picture and acts as a window into another world. Parallelly, an option opens up in the distance. Viewers are invited to think beyond the traditional frame and perceive new perspectives. This composition brings a powerful, thoughtful dynamic to any room by using a texture and color palette that inspires reflection and dreaming.
