About this artwork

'Afloat 2' is, at essence, a love story. My own love story where I exist with my lover in both the past and present moment, isolated unto ourselves and yet interconnected with the world around us. Our story is told both through the physicality of our aging bodies and in the images of memory, places, and times past that form the world in which we now exist.
