About this artwork
The spectacle of rain clouds racing by and covering the world in mist was the starting point for this series. While working on the 20 different prints, it quickly became clear that neither color nor structure clearly describes this phenomenon. As with all the topics that inspire me, the crucial point lies in the nuances of change.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Annette Paulsen works primarily with traditional printing techniques and skilfully combines these with digital workflows. Her art reflects her fascination with change, chance, contrasts and especially water, which is expressed in highly abstracted forms that capture and preserve movement. Her works are a reflection of the continuous change in nature and time, which is impressively conveyed in intense colors and a tangible feel.
