I took a previously painted canvas, an idea, and the canvas is already recycled: My mixed media piece depicts a scene in the moment, a mood, a sense of oneness and otherness in a cozy atmosphere. I can practically smell the smoke of the cigarillo. In the foreground, a candle burns, and a bowl filled with olives hints at what lies within.
