About this artwork
The painting was created by layering colors one on top of the other. Initially applied with a brush, the strokes were eventually applied with a finger. The entire surface was then brushed to reveal the luminous layers of color hidden beneath. A landscape emerged from the canvas, full of nuance and light, yet retaining a wild quality.
