About this artwork
This painting is one of a series of paintings using Raw Sienna as the larger element Placed on the right side at the bottom. From this, at an angle, to fill in the large space on the left side is a large, wide, Turquoise line with goes from bottom to top. There are other variants of this with Olive Green and other colours positioned in the same place. Other paintings in the series have varying colours, lengths, angles (some are pointing down)…
and widths. Some lines are thin and some are stunted, and appear not to be lines at all. Most at some point are very close (1/4 inch 1/2 cm) to the Raw Sienna element. Which adds to the dynamism and balance of the piece.
