Apostles are painted half-human, half-skeleton figures. This juxtaposition of life and death can symbolize the themes of mortality, the transience of life, and the idea of the eternal soul versus the physical body .
Half of them painted with Jesus sitting to the table and half of them right and left on feels like abstact figures on paintings,… evoke themes of unity and division, considering that the Last Supper is not only a moment of gathering but also one filled with foreshadowing, including the betrayal by Judas. In this powerful rendering, I've infused raw motion and profound emotion with stark, impactful ink. Every stroke captures fleeting moments of contemplation and unresolved tensions among the figures, reflecting deep symbolic meanings about unity, betrayal, and the human condition.
