About this artwork
I made this painting of cork trees dancing with rocks. Lately I spend lots of time in Catalunya and there, in a village at the foot of the Pyrenees you can find all these giant rocks from the ice age still laying in the forest.
There seems to be a symbiosis of these rocks with the trees. Especially with the cork trees. You can find groups of stones with curling trees everywhere in the landscape. In my eyes they are dancing.
