This painting is created from remnants of moldings with a baroque touch, where small miniature figures bring their own universe to life. Each character has their own story and essence, and together they create a scene full of fun and good energy.
Each piece is unique and conveys passion, joy, and a playful atmosphere that invites the audience to imagine and create their own story based on these scenes. A cross between kitsch… and pop, my works seek to spark smiles, memories, and imagination in those who view them.

António Azevedo uses model dolls inside small square frames, merging his training in fashion design with his experience in window dressing and merchandising. He employs a meticulous and detailed technique, recreating everyday scenes in miniature from common objects, imbuing each piece with a unique theatrical atmosphere.
