About this artwork
Each of my pieces is unique, born from passion and the desire to transform the everyday into a universe of joy. In this work, a complete piano keyboard—rescued from oblivion—becomes the stage where tiny figures inhabit, bringing my creative world to life.
In this work, the color red pervades everything, transforming everyday objects into miniature stages filled with unexpected stories. Corks, molds, and forgotten shapes are transformed into a vibrant… universe where tiny characters wander, observe, and seem to live within a parallel world.
With a pop sensibility and a touch of kitsch, the piece plays with the idea that the simplest things can become extraordinary. Each figure seems to be in the middle of a scene: a conversation, a break, or even a small mystery. The viewer is invited to complete the story, to imagine what happens in this red world where fun, curiosity, and fantasy never stop.

António Azevedo uses model dolls inside small square frames, merging his training in fashion design with his experience in window dressing and merchandising. He employs a meticulous and detailed technique, recreating everyday scenes in miniature from common objects, imbuing each piece with a unique theatrical atmosphere. His works invite the viewer to imagine their own stories, conveying nostalgia, wonder, and a deep connection with everyday life.
