« Each composition is a story that can be read between the expressions of the many characters represented and the joints of the figures that intertwine. »
Antonio Cotecchia, aka Kotè, is an Italian artist who works at the intersection of painting, sound, and urban space. His research stems from the intersection of traditional techniques and contemporary languages, developing a style that intertwines Expressionist, Cubist, Futurist, and Pop influences.

At the heart of his work is the human face, understood as a threshold: a traversable surface where visible identity and inner dimension coexist. His works become layered narrative spaces, where symbols, fragments, and visions construct a profound dialogue with the viewer.

From canvas to public space, his practice expands into urban interventions that transform places into shared experiences, activating connections between individuals and communities.

For Kotè, painting means making visible what normally remains hidden: emotions, energies, possibilities. A process of transformation that invites the viewer to recognize their own uniqueness.
