About this artwork
Infant crying as a reaction to an uncomfortable situation. Probably a language of which we do not have the key which the newborn probably uses to establish relationships with the people around him ... but when a baby cries what does he ask for? This work participated in the Salerno Biennale (in virtual mode), November 2021.

Antonio De Nardis is a painter and draftsman based in Italy whose works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally. He describes the only central theme marked in his works as being the "reality of things", filtered and shaped by the truth, as well as the reality of the countless states of consciousness and sensations. In essence, De Nardis' bold compositions portray reality as it does not appear.
