Left without any particular landmark or direction, it is futile to seek any way out because it seems that such desperate attempt to find salvation would lead you once again to another dead and another wrong situation. Facing the hopeless nightmare seems to foreshadow the passage to death, and in the final act, near the very end, in the last allowed instant of awareness, it renders you unbearably sober and aware of your being and the meaning of life.…
It is unbearable since, at that instant, you finally come to the only possible realization that it is too late and there is no going back. The memory dies out, the recollection of the existential strives for better future disappears, and you blame fate, that superstitious notion – a higher force that determines the course of events in everyone's life.

Antonio Janevski is a North Macedonian painter whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Italy and Croatia. He insists that there is nothing glamorous about his paintings and prefers only to reveal the themes of his works only to those that are truly curious and interested. Janevski's compositions are often characterized by a dominating color, as well as sharp contrasts. He is currently researching the concept of "understanding the medium of painting" as a contemporary manner of expression.
