A portrait in which the man of power, the King, or if we want a false myth, is denigrated, mocked. He is probably naked in front of the people who put him in the pillory, who made up on him and forced him down from his pedestal. It seems to hear the cookware of history that makes a whisper of noise. It crashes from here, it bumps there, nothing has any meaning, it is only the chaotic noise of human affairs that never learn from human misfortune.…
But perhaps it is precisely the moment of shame that reminds us of our limitations and makes us human again. And in that moment it seems that the noise dies down and quiet comes. And the wait.
