About this artwork
In my work, I combined acrylic and graphite to capture an emotional intensity that manifests itself through the gaze. The current of realism and expressionism merge, outlining an almost tangible figure. Bright yellow communicates energy and passion, invoking internal reflection. It is an invitation to perceive the strength hidden in human vulnerability and the intimacy that can be found in a face. This art will revitalize any space with its dynamic…
presence.
Antonio Minervini
Italy
« I am a figurative painter, I paint the outside to reveal the inside. My paintings never leave you alone. »
Antonio Minervini is an artist based in Italy whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Through his art, he endeavors to establish an intimate-relationship between the works and the viewer, "creating a suspended time that gives way to recognize oneself". The central theme that underlies Minervini's figurative compositions is the desire and hope of every human relationship, to recognize and be recognized.
