Extreme elegance that favors a rather unusual technique: this work is in fact built in the cold material of perforated steel on which the contribution of colored enamels creates geometric shapes, implementing a visual narrative of rigorous and austere beauty.
Its composition expresses an abstraction that is only apparently immediate, as it is combined with highly… specialized manual skills, in which it is necessary to work with industrial tools and processes, from painting the steel plates, to the perforations and welds necessary to make the collages.
In the visual results of such a complex work, an ideal of expository clarity is realized, in a pictorial language essential for the economy of the sign elements that run through the smooth and shiny surfaces of its supports.

Antonio Saporito is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Arab Emirates.
