Credentials

  • Featured in gallery curations
Ariane Mariot is a visual artist whose work explores the body as a continuous, sensitive and living fabric.
Through textiles, prints and installations, she develops an artistic research rooted in a sensitive experience of the body, particularly around fascia, considered as a fabric of relationship, memory and circulation.
His work does not seek to represent the body, but to extend its internal dynamics.
Materiality is at the heart of his approach: fibers, printed surfaces and repetitive gestures are approached as living partners, bearers of memory.
Her work is part of a broader reflection on life, perception and forms of sensory knowledge, at the crossroads of contemporary art, the body and its ecology.
