About this artwork
In this work, I explored texture and the organic through the interweaving of spun wool and carded wool, orchestrating a symphony of shapes that fit together naturally. Each sculpted element evokes the delicate interconnection of life, awakening a reflection on its fragility and the force of life. This wall object recalls the warmth of a nest, inviting deep and soothing contemplation.

Ariane Mariot is a visual artist whose work explores the body as a continuous, sensitive and living fabric.
