DIMENSIONS AND DESCRIPTION Length varies from 8 to 3 cm. The milblende has a white head with a light brown body. As the milblende gets older, its head shrinks. This process continues until the head has completely disappeared. He can no longer feed and eventually dies of starvation.
HABITAT On humans or near pits and curbs.
FOOD AND HABITS The milblende prefers to live on the mouth opening of its host. The smoke that is released… during this process is experienced as very pleasant by its host. The milblende can also live independently. However, he is less well protected against his enemies. If he feels threatened, he can curl up. On the ground, the milblende lives in herds.
