About this artwork
In my photographic work I have tried to capture the majestic silence and vast solitude of the desert. The soft lines and the interplay of light and shadow on the sand dunes create a sense of timeless tranquility. I was inspired by the natural sculptures of the sand, which change every moment with the moving sunlight. This piece brings a peaceful yet powerful energy to any space, inviting the viewer to contemplate the grandeur of nature.

Arjan Bronkhorst is a Dutch photographer, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As a professional photographer he specializes in architecture and interior photography, and portraits. He also works on assignments in corporate photography. Amongst his clients are magazines, publishers and agencies. Arjan also likes to travel, photographing people and landscapes. He shot several travel stories for magazines. Arjan traveled many times to Spitsbergen / Svalbard, where he worked as a photography guide. Arjan worked on a self initiated project, photographing Amsterdam's 17th century canal houses. He captured the astonishing beauty of their interiors as well as their current residents.
