About this artwork
In this work I sought to capture vibrant urban energy through bold brushstrokes and expressive colors. Oil allows me to layer shades and textures, creating a landscape that is both familiar and surreal. The duality of cold and heat invites reflection on the dynamics of urban space, evoking passion and movement at the heart of our hectic lives.

Arly Auclair is an award-winning visual artist, who has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in Spain, Mexico, Monaco, Germany, and Canada. Her compositions confront the realities of the world. Auclair satiates her curiosity through the exploration of varying themes which include the human form, urban and industrial heritage, memento mori, and societal questions. Her narrative and free figurative pieces are created using acrylics, oils, felt, and collage on cardboard, paper, linen, or canvas.
