About this artwork
In my work, I have sought to capture warmth and light, using oil to bring to life a scene that is both simple and charged with emotion. The representation of the parasols evokes summer, relaxation and time which stretches indefinitely. Colors and textures create a welcoming and warm atmosphere, perfect for brightening up a living space with a touch of escape and well-being. My beaches on the island of Oléron, where funny mushrooms of all colors appear…

Arly Auclair is an award-winning visual artist, who has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in Spain, Mexico, Monaco, Germany, and Canada. Her compositions confront the realities of the world. Auclair satiates her curiosity through the exploration of varying themes which include the human form, urban and industrial heritage, memento mori, and societal questions. Her narrative and free figurative pieces are created using acrylics, oils, felt, and collage on cardboard, paper, linen, or canvas.
