About this artwork
The work is a joint effort between my wife and me. It is about the being of words. It has been described, the words have been considered, and the semantic units have been isolated. In the center there is a pouring of wax that brings old parts of the picture background back to life.

Armin Köstlich is a painter, draftsman, and printmaker based in Germany whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. In the age of technical possibilities with digital cameras and visualization software, illustration has become artistically uninteresting for him. Köstlich's current artistic his approach is based on "pure creation" which is not expressed through any particular style, medium, or technique.
