About this artwork
I wanted to capture the power and fleeting grace of cheetahs, symbols of energy and speed, in a world that is both dreamlike and semi-abstract. Gold enhances the mysterious strength of these felines, while the vibrant texture evokes warmth and the earth in motion. This diptych invites the viewer to feel freedom and the vital impulse. red mark for the organic, the gold for the lushness of nature, and the curved black line for the movement to come. The edge of the stretcher, thicker than usual, is painted because I prefer a painting hung unframed or in a float frame.
