About this artwork
Within the series “Visible Air” ARIA VISIBILE, I refer to contemporary issues.
Abstracted, abstract, often only readable to me.
The dynamics of our time, the speed that swirls the shapes and colors and only sporadically shows a static structure in the background.
The formal composition is paramount.
The title gives a clue to my intuition.
I wanted to draw a donkey, but while I was doing it, a leopard came and snatched it away. It happened so… fast that I only caught a glimpse of the leopard's markings. A red spot remained as a reminder. Dangerous times, not just for donkeys.
