Verwendet wurde eine vom Künstler selbst entwickelte "Patchwork"-Technik, bei der unter Einbezug von Modellierpaste eine Collagen-ähnliche neue Komposition erarbeitet wird, die sehr abstrakt gehalten ist und über starke expressive Elemente verfügt. Die Farbe wird dabei geschichtet und ergänzt durch Schraffuren und graphische Elemente unter Einsatz von unterschiedlichen Kreiden und Stiften. Schwerpunktmaterialien… sind dabei Acrylfarben, Gesteinsmehl und Pigmente. Die Absicht des Künstlers war dabei, eine spielerische Symbiose aus abstrakter und gegenständlicher Malerei zu erreichen.
