There are two types of heat in Malaysia, the searing heat of the tropics and the other searing, aromatic, exotic, dramatic and sizzling heat from a Wok. A simple half spherical bowl that provides the cultural foundation of Malaysia.
The sheer selflessness astounded me. He created art everyday and would hone his talent relentlessly to deliver an incredible education for his daughter. W O r K is the consequential depiction of this iconic Malaysian… Hawker lifestyle and of the philosophy these people provide and show us everyday, their need to create something that will ultimately help pave the way for a brighter future for their sons and daughters.
