About this artwork
"1930" is a work which retraces the Man of the years before the war. Gentleman, virile and enigmatic, the artist wanted to paint an era inspired by the film "Enemy public" with Johnny Deep and Marion Cotillard. The film's music inspired and transported Art DMP during the creation.

Art DMP is an artist based in France whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally. She describes her artistic practice as being based on an emotion within that she wishes to transmit through canvas. Intensely personal, each of DMP's pieces tells a story about a moment in her life and often inspired by the people who are close to her. In addition, music plays an important role in the creation of her bold figurative compositions.
