Geisha inspires me. These women are opting for multiple talents. Music, Dance, fan handling and more.
I had the opportunity to play a Geisha for a medieval show. There were 8 of us, and we had to perform a choreography with 60cm fans in each hand. It took me a lot of learning and dexterity to arrive at a satisfactory result.
I admire their… gift.
They are for me real living works of art. They display their graces naturally. I respect them and I like to pay tribute to them on the canvas. The film transported me, I have watched it thousands of times.
