About this artwork
"Pink" was performed while listening to Kassav's album. A return to color with the return of sunny days. The Artist painted here a woman during a festive summer evening. She closes her eyes to best savor the sound of the Antilles. The dripping technique accentuates the dynamism of this work.

Art DMP is an artist based in France whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally. She describes her artistic practice as being based on an emotion within that she wishes to transmit through canvas. Intensely personal, each of DMP's pieces tells a story about a moment in her life and often inspired by the people who are close to her. In addition, music plays an important role in the creation of her bold figurative compositions.
