About this artwork
A figure contemplates the outer world, baptised with soaking hair...the bare beauty of the pool nymph. What will that unmolded clay become? The pool is a world unto its own with the colors and scents of a desert landscape turned green and blue. I paint the smell of chlorinated water, suntan lotion, and as always, the underwater glow of a single light on white concrete..
