The painting was painted late in the evening under the impression of Konstantin Korovin's painting and classical painting. The wide pasty smear became popular during the teaching of Ilya Repin. Philip Malyavin and other students liked this style.
But Konstantin Korovin, after traveling to France and getting acquainted with impressionism, switched to a lighter style. It seems to me that this… is sometimes more acceptable for a landscape, because the ratios within one spot fluctuate and contain subtle gradations of halftones. In a broad manner, this is not easy to recreate, although it may be possible.

Artem Brazhnik is a painter from Ukraine who has exhibited nationally. He drew often as a child and after his father saw one of his, he exclaimed that he was an artist, which he has remained ever since.
