Arthur Rodrigues is a prize-winning painter who was born in Brazil and now resides in New York City. The shift from fashion photography to art was natural for him, as he believes that it “all involves an image”. Through his art, he enjoys interpreting the commonplace and making a statement of the relationship between the subject and the painting's abstraction. Rodrigues adds several layers to his works before they are deemed finished.
