Veritates Proscaenium refers to the staging of our world, so the artist assembles a structure built with these red and blue books that deal, according to their backs of art and nature. Again this duality arises that is nothing but the desire of man to overcome nature through art and science. The painting is presented as a map, where the place of the microcosm and the place of the stars are clearly indicated

Arturo Duclos is an experienced Chilean painter who has exhibited his work nationally as well as in the US. Inspired by pre-Hispanic archaeology, he explores historical and popular iconography through a restless, passionate approach. His works evoke the speed, multiplicity, and juxtapositions present in our visual culture, and express the crisis of language he observes in such a globalized world. Duclos primarily produces acrylic on fabric works that take the viewer on a journey into intriguing stories and thought-provoking mysteries.
