About this artwork

In this oil work, I have sought to fuse the essence of oriental art with symbolic abstraction and metaphysics. It represents a spiritual journey, a common thread between the earthly and the divine, which leads from the lighthouse of intuition, (a lighthouse that exists in Cancun, which is where I painted the work) towards the Third Eye, through the Caduceus (symbol of Pharmacies), the snake of the dose that heals and the dose that poisons, the midpoint… is defined in the wings of the angel, where the caduceus, the right dose, culminates. The golden thread continues to the star of Sirius on the left, passing the diamond of intuition in the center, and the star of Betelgeuse on the right. The thread continues towards the lotus flower, symbol of the Soul, crowned by the Egoic egg.
