About this artwork
This abstract oil painting reflects my deep passion and emotions. The bold blue lines and gentle contrast against the creamy background represent a journey of reflection and inner dialogue. I wanted to create a work that would make viewers think and bring a determined but calming energy into their home. Each brush stroke is guided with the intention of capturing the complexity of the human experience.

Arvid Boecker is an award-winning German painter who has exhibited extensively in Germany, as well as in the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Thailand, the United States, India and China. For Boecker, each painting precedes then follows another, as if he has been creating one picture for over three decades. Working in the medium of oils, he applies over 40 layers of paint to each canvas. Over the course of several days, he removes it, kneads it, then reapplies.
