About this artwork
In this work, created from acrylic and resin, I captured the depths of the sea and the endless sky. Abstract flows in blue tones reflect calm and space. It is intended to invite the viewer to explore their own world of thoughts and bring an aura of relaxation and inspiration into the room.

Arvid Boecker is an award-winning German painter who has exhibited extensively in Germany, as well as in the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Thailand, the United States, India and China. For Boecker, each painting precedes then follows another, as if he has been creating one picture for over three decades. Working in the medium of oils, he applies over 40 layers of paint to each canvas. Over the course of several days, he removes it, kneads it, then reapplies.
