About this artwork
This charcoal and acrylic artwork is inspired by the beauty of dance and opals. He started with charcoal to brush in the realistic look of a woman in a ballerina pose- as seen in the final image. Then used a mix of jade, cream, soft pink, baby blue, black, gold, opal skin white, faded garden green and ash pink to create a splash, splatter, flick and fluid mix of expressive and emotive colour.
This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box.… The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5") thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
