Asma Kazi
India
« My art is grounded in the strange and whimsical. It is a celebration of the ever-evolving, and ever enchanted everyday life, alongside beautiful dilapidation. »
Asma Kazi is an artist based in India whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in the United States. She began her series "Alien Landscapes" in 2014, through which she explores our contemporary age of "mutating and morphing ecosystems". Kazi's striking compositions are the result of many layers of color and drawing, employing mixed media and several application techniques.
