About this artwork
This painting of Hanuman was inspired by my Ashtanga yoga practice that has accompanied me in my life as an artist for over two decades at the time of writing.
Hanuman represents symbolically pure devotion, selfless duty and absence of ego in self control. He inspires by embodying the forces of good in helping the weak. Despite Hanuman’s otherworldly physical feats, he’s also considered a patron of meditation and scholarly pursuits.
