Winter landscapes are amazing to me. They provide us with the balance compared to the abundance to come.
'Effets de neige' (effects of snow) is a technique that I, and I am sure many great artists alike, will obsess over forever. There is a something truly beautiful in the subtlety of color change and starkness of snow. There is a subtle interplay between the blue sky and the white landscape that I hope brings a sensation of 'crispness from a cold… breeze' to the viewer.
