About this artwork
In this work, I give free rein to a raw and instinctive expression. Using felt-tip pen and Indian ink, I sought to capture the effervescence of human emotions. The faces emerge from a swirling background, where each feature and each color reflect a singular story. It is a hymn to the diversity and complexity of the feelings that animate our being.

Aude Rech is an experienced painter and photographer based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany and the United States. While her artistic approach has varied throughout her career, she describes her art as being a dialogue with the world, "one we carry within us". In her artistic process, Rech favors paper over canvas, as it allows her to create more freely.
