About this artwork
The work is inspired by a scene from the book of the Apocalypse of John, where Lucifer (light) is brought to trial in front of his father. Lucifer in front of the Father God covers his face for the shame of his betrayal. The egg is a symbol of divine totality, while the mirror is the reflection of the light of Lucifer who is blinded by his own image before falling into darkness.
