About this artwork
This work is based on a link that is invisible and hidden from view.
While the front reveals a soft and organic meeting line, the real assembly takes place on the back, where the leathers are fully laced, held under tension, out of view.
The light leather, derived from ostrich, has a surface dotted with natural, almost breathable markings, while the chocolate brown leather retains darker traces, evidence of a past inscribed in the material.
The… cut has not been corrected or softened. It follows the contour as it was imposed, revealing the thickness, the edge, the truth of the material.
Between these two layers, the tension does not seek to disappear. It connects, supports and maintains the whole, in a fragile balance where memory and constraint remain perceptible.

Nourished by geometric abstraction, minimalism, and Arte Povera, her approach explores the balance between formal rigor and organic vibration. The cuts, seams, and assemblages reveal the gesture, exposing the trace of time and the intrinsic strength of the material.
Her compositions explore pressure, restraint and repair, revealing an embodied abstraction that is both structured and sensitive.
